Senior Strategic Product Manager - Merchant Fulfillment

We are looking for a Senior Strategic Product Manager to lead the development and launch of key delivery experience features in Amazon Australia's Marketplace. This role will own both identifying and working with Amazon partner teams to improve the seller experience together with the delivery experience they offer customers focusing on the merchant fulfillment channel.

An ideal candidate is someone who will be obsessed with making the seller and customer experience seamless. The individual will be highly analytical, organized, quantitative and data driven and results focused. They will also have a passion for inventing and scaling a successful program -- from identifying the focus areas to communicating the results and using the data to inform future business decisions and feature development.

The Key Responsibilities include:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute initiatives to remove seller friction and improve customer experience in merchant fulfillment delivery experience
  • Analyze big data sets and results, communicate learnings upward, and use the data to drive future strategies
  • Document results and share best-practices across merchant fulfillment for Seller Services worldwide organization
  • Partner with technical and business teams to drive system improvements within Seller Central self-service solutions
  • Own multiple team KPIs for seller engagement and channel growth, developing strategy to drive results over short and long-term

BUSINESS SKILLS NEEDED:

  • A tenacious self-starter who can serve as a strong advocate for our sellers and our business
  • Possess exceptional big data and project management skills
  • Capable of handling multiple projects at once amidst rapidly-changing priorities and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Ability to be successful both as an individual contributor and in a team environment, and also will be able to perform at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Ability to manage a wide range of responsibilities, thrive on solving challenging problems and not afraid to challenge the status quo

In this role you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including technical and business teams to drive system improvements within Seller Central self-service solutions.

With your expertise, you will be able to make data-driven decisions and communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of programs.

To succeed in this role, you should have 4+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience, with experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition, experience with end to end product delivery, and experience as a product manager or owner.
