Leadership Roles and Responsibilities

  • Drive strategic product delivery by aligning product vision with engineering roadmaps and client needs, ensuring smooth software delivery.
  • Lead technology portfolio management, overseeing effective project delivery and benefit realization.
  • Develop and promote best practice methodologies for enterprise delivery, including Agile frameworks and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor project performance metrics, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversight of budget and forecasting for enterprise delivery initiatives, optimizing resource allocation and controlling costs.
  • Align technology delivery objectives with Coates' strategy and vision, engaging with executive leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage technology risk, ensuring compliance with risk management frameworks and internal policies.
  • Lead Release and Environment Management, deploying software across environments, managing dependencies, and optimizing release schedules.
  • Lead the Business Analysis Practice, promoting a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
  • Establish and manage project delivery teams, ensuring the effectiveness of onshore and offshore delivery models.
  • Mentor and develop delivery leaders, focusing on personal growth opportunities and career ambitions.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in program management and/or technology delivery, with 5 years of experience leading large and complex technology portfolios.
  • Experience in Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid program delivery models.
  • Demonstrated experience working with Agile principles and matrix reporting.
  • Extensive experience in running major programs and managing budgets of $20m+.
  • Experience managing a large portfolio of up to 5 diverse projects.
