About NDIS Intake Officers

Our organisation seeks dedicated and passionate professionals to join our team as NDIS Intake Officers. These individuals will thrive on delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocate referrals to ensure timely service delivery and a seamless experience for clients.
  • Collaborate closely with operational staff and leaders to provide guidance and support to participants navigating the NDIS scheme.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, converting enquiries into successful referrals.
  • Manage funding requests, ensuring NDIS funds are available for services and meeting organisational objectives.
  • Provide high-quality advice to participants, guiding them through the NDIS process and promoting independence.

Essential Requirements:

We require candidates with a sound understanding of person-centered thinking, the principles of the NDIS, and the National Disability Service Standards. Relevant experience in case management or a related field is highly valued. Exceptional customer engagement skills, highly developed communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently are also essential.
