Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Retirement Living Operations Manager, responsible for ensuring the operational requirements of independent living communities within your portfolio are met.
- You will be the first point of contact for general enquiries, property management and apartment resales, working to achieve and maintain optimal occupancy.
- Effective staff supervision is essential, ensuring that all staff are operating in line with our policies, procedures and expectations.
- You will also manage complaints and disputes efficiently and effectively, ensuring that all parties are satisfied with the outcome.
- Manage budgets within your portfolio, ensuring that resident and minor works budgets are maintained.
- Drive customer engagement and activation within communities, working to improve the overall quality of life for residents.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless service delivery, always prioritising the needs of our customers.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a retirement or housing-related environment, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to relate to diverse groups of people.
- A strong understanding of financial aspects, including budgeting and cost control.
- Experience in the hotel environment or residential aged care, with a commitment to high standards of care for residents.
