Audiologist
Role Summary
We are seeking an Audiologist to support and empower clients of all backgrounds. The successful candidate will assess the auditory problems of non-complex adult clients, provide rehabilitative support, and liaise with other professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess auditory problems and provide appropriate support including hearing aid fitting and assistive listening devices
- Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from senior audiologists
- Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits
- Liaise with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) representatives and other allied health agencies
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Audiology
- Full and current membership with Audiology Society of Australia
- Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards
- Sound knowledge of Hearing Services Program
