Senior Geotechnical Engineer Position

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Geotechnical Engineer to play a key role in the Underground Technical Services team. As a leading member of the Geotechnical Engineering group, you will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient management and delivery of all geotechnical requirements.

About this Opportunity
  • Lead and mentor a team of Geotechnical Engineers to achieve exceptional results.
  • Develop strategic work plans and processes for the Geotechnical Department to enhance productivity and profitability.
  • Conceptualise, initiate, present and implement specific Geotechnical improvement projects to drive gains in efficiency and profitability.
  • Provide expert Geotechnical advice and direction in underground mining areas.
  • Collaborate closely with operations to prioritise and execute Geotechnical activities effectively.
Essential Skills and Qualifications
  • Hold tertiary qualifications in Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Currently hold a 'C' Class Western Australian Drivers Licence (Manual).
  • Have experience with mine design software - Deswik.
  • Possess underground geotechnical experience in a mechanised hard-rock underground mine.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills.
