We are seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to play a key role in supporting our open pit and underground operations.

The successful candidate will lead inspections, contribute to ground control strategies, and manage geotechnical projects from concept to completion.

  • Lead inspections to ensure geotechnical integrity and safety

  • Manage geotechnical projects from concept to completion

You will collaborate with technical and operational teams to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions that support long-term planning and operational excellence.

Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Mining, Geoscience, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline with a focus on Geomechanics
  • Minimum 7 years' geotechnical experience
  • Proven supervisory experience in operations, technical services, or project management
  • Strong understanding of safety systems, geotechnical controls, and open pit operations
  • Solid knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Advanced user of geotechnical modelling and CAD software
  • Budget management skills and ability to meet strict deadlines
