Senior Geotechnical Engineer Role

Our organization seeks a highly skilled Senior Geotechnical Engineer to provide geotechnical support for mine development and production activities.

  • The selected candidate will be responsible for regular geotechnical inspections of working operations.
  • They will create, maintain, and review Ground Control Management Plans for each operation.
  • The successful candidate must ensure adherence to Ground Control Management Plan.
  • Geotechnical assessments of open pit and underground designs are also part of the job requirements.
  • Maintaining strong working relationships between technical and operational staff is essential.
Key Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with a minimum 5 years' post-graduate experience in a similar role.

  • A relevant degree from a recognized tertiary institution is mandatory.
  • Experience with Surpac mining software is desirable.
  • Affiliation to a Professional Body/Organization (e.g., AusIMM/AIG) is also preferred.
