Geotechnical Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Geotechnical Professional to lead inspections, contribute to ground control strategies, and manage geotechnical projects from concept to completion.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive problem-solver with a passion for safety and innovation to drive safe, sustainable, and effective outcomes.

As a senior member of our Technical Services team, you will have a significant impact on the integrity of pit slopes, waste rock dumps, tailings, and water storage facilities.

  • Lead inspections and contribute to ground control strategies to ensure optimal site conditions.
  • Manage geotechnical projects from initiation to delivery, influencing outcomes across multiple departments while striving for continuous improvement.

You will have a tertiary qualification in Mining, Geoscience, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline with a focus on Geomechanics, and possess the following experience:

  • A minimum of 7 years' geotechnical experience, including supervisory roles in operations, technical services, or project management.
  • A strong understanding of safety systems, geotechnical controls, and open pit operations.
  • A solid knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements.
  • Advanced skills in geotechnical modelling and CAD software.
