At our retirement village, we are seeking a supportive and friendly team member to join our community.

This is an exciting opportunity for a full-time gardener/maintenance officer to provide maintenance and gardening support to our village.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the site is tidy and well-maintained
  • General maintenance and repairs to buildings and infrastructure
  • Maintenance of up-to-date inventory of equipment and adhering to preventative maintenance programs
  • Horticultural and ground development, maintenance, and monitoring to maximise seasonal conditions
  • Pathways, drains, and edge maintenance and repair when needed

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience and knowledge in general and commercial maintenance
  • Experience in safe operation of ride on mowers, gardening equipment, and power tools with adherence to WH&S policies
  • Exceptional people and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
