Job Overview

The Threats and Workforce Protection (TWP) Branch supports the delivery of a safe and secure nuclear-powered submarine capability by:

  • Understanding and communicating threats to the program
  • Uplifting security culture and awareness across the agency and enterprise workforces
  • Mitigating personnel security risks through effective early detection, security incident management and response, and organisational suitability assessment processes

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to fill multiple leadership positions in the TWP Branch.

In these roles, you will exercise independence, perform a leadership role, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and work productively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

As a leader, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a small team to cultivate productive relationships with government and non-government stakeholders
  • Conducting protective security briefings and engagement
  • Interpreting and briefing stakeholders about program-related legislation, policies, procedures, objectives, and threat reporting
  • Identifying, anticipating, and responding to stakeholder requirements to promote and support the strategic objectives of the agency

You will manage competing and time-critical priorities and provide detailed and sound strategic guidance to stakeholders about complex security matters.
