We are seeking highly skilled professionals to join our team at BAE Systems Australia. Our company works in a thriving sector, producing innovative and groundbreaking technology.

  • You will be responsible for delivering all aspects of security risk management and implementation in accordance with the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF).

The successful candidate will have strong leadership and management skills, with experience in security and/or a Defence Industry role.

About the Role
  1. Develop and implement security processes guidelines in support of Policy and Standards requirements.
  2. Supervise all aspects of operational security for the business area in line with local security strategy, policies, standards and best practice.
  3. Review and improve frameworks and functional processes aimed at developing and enhancing best practices and integrating efficient security solutions for the security environment.
  4. Manage security risk assessments and mitigation strategies in line with BAE Systems Australia standards and policy, as well as coordinating with Defence contractor owners as needed.
  5. Support and manage the security incident process, ensuring the reporting meets mandated timelines with coordinated security investigations.
About You
  • Australian Citizen, eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 2 Defence Security & ITAR clearance required.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in security and/or a Defence Industry role, including sound knowledge of the Defence Security Principles Framework (DSPF), and the ability to inform and understand BAE Systems Australia's Company policy and procedures.
