Job Summary

We are seeking a Supportive Living Professional to join our team at MacKillop Family Services. As a key member of our community services program, you will provide critical support and advocacy for clients in need.

About the Role

This part-time position (23 hours per week) is based in Ballarat and reports to the Team Leader. Your primary responsibilities will include direct resident support, light cleaning duties, donation collection, food preparation, shopping, and other tasks as required.

Key Selection Criteria

  • A certificate or diploma qualification in social work, community services, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with women and children facing complex challenges related to family violence, homelessness, health, and mental health.
  • The capacity to apply a flexible, inclusive, non-judgmental, and empowering approach to practice and service delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid and current driver's license.
  • A satisfactory criminal history check (paid for by MacKillop).
  • A valid Employee Working with Children Check.
  • A valid NDIS Workers Screening Check (for risk-assessed/client-facing roles).
