Content Marketing Manager

About the Role

This strategic role is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing owned channel content to support and strengthen the university's brand and reputation, driving student engagement and enrolment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Associate Director Brand & Content in planning and delivering content strategies that appeal to our target audience.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate a broad range of externally facing content to build brand and reputation and promote the university to prospective students.
  • Provide expert communication guidance, training, and stakeholder relationship management to support the team's work in line with the university's strategic objectives.
  • Plan, identify, source, and produce content across owned channels, including the web, social media, email, and other channels, for a wide range of audiences and purposes.
  • Coordinate the production of and write content for key publications, collaborating with colleagues across the university.
  • Lead operational and project-based work that supports and drives student recruitment.
  • Manage and organize photographic and video shoots, ensuring that assets are on brand and appeal to our target audience.
Requirements
  • Expert skills in content writing and content marketing, with experience in executing strategic communication activities across multiple channels.
  • A solid understanding of the role of digital content in crafting outstanding user experiences and increasing brand awareness.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills and attention to detail.
  • An ability to assess complex situations and collaboratively work out best solutions.
  • Proven experience collaborating within teams to produce integrated marketing content across print, digital, and multi-channel platforms.
  • Ability to manage budgets, track content performance, and provide detailed reports to team and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices for creative copywriting and effective keyword placement.
