About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Content / Social Media Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team at Eightcap. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies, creating engaging content, and fostering a positive online community.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Social Media Strategies: Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and PTT team to create and execute social media plans that align with our brand goals.
  2. Create Engaging Content: Develop, curate, and schedule content across various social media platforms, ensuring consistency with our brand voice and tone.
  3. Foster a Positive Online Community: Engage with our online followers, responding to comments and messages, and creating a welcoming environment.
  4. Monitor Social Media Trends: Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends, competitor activities, and audience insights to refine our content strategy.
  5. Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining a high level of creativity and attention to detail.
  6. Assist in Social Media Campaigns: Help develop and execute social media campaigns, including brainstorming creative ideas and executing promotional activities.
  7. Analyse and Report on Social Media Performance: Monitor and report on social media performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations to optimize content and engagement.
  8. Coordinate with Content Creators: Collaborate with graphic designers, video editors, and other content creators to produce high-quality visuals and multimedia content.
  9. Maintain a Content Calendar: Ensure timely and consistent posting across all social media channels.
  10. Stay Updated on Platform Changes: Stay informed about platform changes, algorithm updates, and best practices to ensure content is optimized for each platform.
Requirements
  1. 1-2 Years of Experience: Proven experience in social media content creation and management, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Strong Understanding of Social Media Platforms: Excellent knowledge of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, X, and emerging platforms.
  3. Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging and on-brand content.
  4. Proven Project Management Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  5. Community Management Experience: Experience in community management, including responding to comments, messages, and fostering positive interactions.
  6. Collaboration Skills: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including designers, video editors, and marketing professionals.
  7. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and consistency in all content.
  8. Figma Experience (Desired): Experience working with Figma is a plus.
  9. Interest in Finance (Desired): An interest in or personal experience in trading, FX, or general finance is a plus.
  10. PropTech or Fintech Experience (Desired): Experience working with PropTech or fintech brands, or in a startup environment is a plus.
