Senior Content Writer - Advice & Living

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Content Writer to join our team in Sydney or Melbourne. As a key member of our Group Content team, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for Australians across all stages of the property journey.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity to work with a leading Australian brand, Domain. You will be part of a collaborative team that aims to simplify the property journey for all involved. Your expertise will be essential in delivering best-in-class content offerings that support audience acquisition, brand engagement, and revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement content strategies for Advice & Living, working closely with the Content Manager - Advice & Living.
  • Deliver Domain's SEO content strategy, owning the production of new content and optimisation of existing articles.
  • Commission, write, and edit articles to meet business objectives.
  • Support the creation and delivery of an Advice & Living content pipeline that drives revenue and audience targets.
  • Proactively ideate 'big idea' content campaigns aligned to customer segments.
  • Ensure all content follows production best practices to drive SEO and business KPIs.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in editorial, digital content strategy, or marketing.
  • Excellent editorial skills, including editing, commissioning, and writing.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Australian property market, Australian news, and lifestyle media environment.
  • Strong understanding of CMS platforms (WordPress and Brightcove preferred).
  • Experience with AI tools and prompts.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
