Job Title: Senior Director Employee Relations

About the Role

The Senior Director Employee Relations will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Employee Relations professionals to provide strategic advice on a range of employee, workforce, and industrial relations matters, including developing strategies for enterprise bargaining negotiations and complex industrial disputes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Employee Relations professionals to provide strategic advice on employee, workforce, and industrial relations matters.
  • Develop strategies for enterprise bargaining negotiations and complex industrial disputes.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective administration of private sector industrial relations matters within the jurisdiction of the Territory.
  • Represent the Commissioner for Public Employment and provide strategic and operational advice on employee, industrial relations, and workforce issues affecting the NTPS.
  • Maintain senior level strategic alliances and collaborate with key stakeholders.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require a demonstrated record of proactive executive leadership in a large multi-stakeholder environment, and experience in complex policy, employee, and industrial relations. Expert capabilities in research, analytical and conceptual thinking, high-level communication, interpersonal and influential skills, and political astuteness and cultural competence are essential.
