About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as a Senior Director of Employee Relations. This is a key role within the Department of the Chief Minister and Cabinet, responsible for providing expert advice on employee and workforce relations matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team to provide strategic advice on employee and workforce relations matters.
  • Develop and implement innovative and sustainable contemporary industrial relations and employment frameworks for the NTPS workforce.
  • Provide expert advice to the Commissioner for Public Employment, CEOs, and other stakeholders on employee and industrial relations and workforce issues.
  • Represent the Commissioner for Public Employment and maintain senior-level strategic alliances and collaborative partnerships with stakeholders.
Selection Criteria
  • Demonstrated record of proactive executive leadership and team management in a large organization/multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Outcomes-focused ability to lead the development and implementation of strategic, innovative, and sustainable contemporary industrial relations and employment frameworks.
  • Expert capabilities in research and analytical and conceptual thinking, including complex project management ability.
  • Highly developed and sophisticated interpersonal, negotiation, and networking skills.
