Job Description:

The Service NSW property portfolio encompasses over 120 sites across New South Wales, including metropolitan Sydney, rural, and regional locations.

As a key member of the facilities team, you will coordinate and support the efficient management and operation of facilities teams, encompassing work orders, shared facilities inbox, premises maintenance, infrastructure, and other resources to deliver business operations and services in line with agreed standards.

You may be required to travel to various locations from time to time, necessitating possession of a valid driver's license. Additionally, you may be required to work outside standard hours and participate in an after-hours on-call roster.

  • Manage maintenance requests – log, track, and coordinate repairs, maintenance, and repairs for prompt issue resolution.
  • Assist with contract management – provide support with scheduling and overseeing contractors for maintenance tasks, encompassing proactive, planned, and reactive work.
  • Daily Operations - Ensure daily operations run smoothly, with works completed within appropriate timeframes and to priority.
  • Communicate with stakeholders – maintain staff and customer awareness about works that may impact their environment and operations.
  • Support safety protocols – assist with WHS obligations, manage access control, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

We seek an individual with demonstrated experience in a similar role in facilities management and coordination. The ideal candidate should possess strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
