Coastal Modeller and Environmental Analyst

The role of Hydrodynamic and Coastal Specialist is crucial in the impact assessment and approvals process for projects in terrestrial ecology, marine environments and related services.
This position offers opportunities in renewable energy, critical minerals and Defence at regional, national and global scales.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide innovative solutions to marine and aquatic ecological issues by collaborating with engineers and approvals specialists.
- Analyse met-ocean/oceanographic and water quality data to support informed decision making.
- Develop and apply three-dimensional hydrodynamic modelling and two-dimensional spectral wave modelling techniques.
- Support Maritime and Coastal teams in delivering coastal numerical modelling assessments.
- Offer expert environmental advice to clients.
- Contribute to the preparation of high-quality proposals and technical reports.
- Collaborate with project team members to ensure a positive client experience in project delivery.
- Bachelor degree qualifications in Environmental Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in numerical modelling software (preferably MIKE suite).
- Experience in analysing met-ocean/oceanographic and water quality data.
- Strong data management, mathematical and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
