About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Coastal Modeller to join our team and contribute to delivering impact assessments, approvals, terrestrial ecology, marine, and related services.

Main Responsibilities

  • To interact with engineers and approvals specialists to provide innovative solutions to marine and aquatic ecological issues.
  • Analyse met-ocean/oceanographic and water quality data to support project delivery.
  • Undertake three-dimensional hydrodynamic modelling and two-dimensional spectral wave modelling to predict coastal processes.
  • Support Maritime and Coastal teams in delivering coastal numerical modelling assessments to inform client decisions.
  • Provide environmental advice to clients based on technical expertise.
  • Contribute to the preparation of high-quality proposals and technical reports that meet client needs.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree qualification in Environmental Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience with numerical modelling software (MIKE software suite preferred).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, including experience in preparing reports for clients and/or regulators.
