Senior Coastal Modeller Position

We seek an experienced Senior Coastal Modeller to join our team. This role involves interacting with engineers and approvals specialists, analysing met-ocean/oceanographic and water quality data, undertaking three-dimensional hydrodynamic modelling and two-dimensional spectral wave modelling, and supporting our Maritime and Coastal teams in delivering coastal numerical modelling assessments.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree qualification in Environmental Engineering or a related field, experience with numerical modelling software (MIKE software suite preferred), and efficient data management, mathematical and data analysis competencies.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing environmental advice to clients, contributing to the preparation and review of high-quality proposals and technical reports, project management and coordination, and marketing including the development and submission of proposals for routine, low risk projects.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing innovative solutions to marine and aquatic ecological issues

  • Supporting our Maritime and Coastal teams in delivering coastal numerical modelling assessments
  • Provision of environmental advice to clients

  • Marketing including the development and submission of proposals for routine, low risk projects
  • Communicating effectively with clients, regulators, and subcontractors
  • Coordinating the work of the team, mentoring junior team members, fostering their professional growth and career development
