Job Title: Coastal and Hydrodynamic Modeler

We are seeking a skilled Coastal and Hydrodynamic Modeler to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with engineers and approvals specialists to develop innovative solutions for marine and aquatic ecological issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyse met-ocean/oceanographic and water quality data to inform decision-making, providing valuable insights to stakeholders.
  • Utilise advanced numerical modelling using MIKE software suite for hydrodynamic and spectral wave analysis, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
  • Support coastal teams in delivering assessments and providing environmental advice to clients, fostering strong relationships and trust.
  • Contribute to high-quality proposals and technical reports, effectively communicating complex ideas and findings.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure excellent client experience, meeting expectations and delivering outstanding results.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering or related field, with a solid understanding of numerical modelling techniques.
  • Experience with numerical modelling software (MIKE software suite preferred), with a proven track record of producing high-quality results.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills, including experience in preparing reports for clients and/or regulators, with attention to detail and clarity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues and clients.
