Job Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Communication Strategist to join our team at a leading transportation service provider.

As a key member of our communications department, you will play a vital role in shaping our narrative and driving our strategic vision forward.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating and editing content for digital and print media, including web pages, social media, content plans, newsletters, speeches, reports, and marketing campaigns.
  • Developing and executing communication strategies and campaigns to increase our reach among target audiences.
  • Managing media enquiries and assets, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information with an understanding of media dynamics.
  • Supporting key events and campaigns across the organisation, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Developing, executing, optimising, and reporting on campaigns.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to understand their communication needs and provide strategic guidance and support.

Successful applicants should possess:

  • A tertiary degree or certificate, or proven experience in a relevant area of expertise.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build and nurture productive working relationships.
  • Flawless written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in project planning and delivery, as well as ongoing management of key stakeholder relationships.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing a range of communication materials (both digital and offline).
  • Demonstrated experience in event management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, WordPress, Mailchimp, Canva, and basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite.
