Job Opportunity: Communications Administrator

We are seeking a skilled Communications Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering timely and effective communication to internal and external stakeholders.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships and making a real impact. You will work closely with operations and project teams to support our Maintenance & ITS projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop Advanced Works Notifications and internal newsletters.
  • Engage with the public, councils, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders.
  • Assist in planning and delivering internal events and staff engagement activities.
  • Provide backup support for the 24/7 Operations Support Centre.
  • Collaborate with project managers and business operations to ensure consistent messaging.
  • Contribute to a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement, communications or administration preferably in construction or road maintenance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; Adobe InDesign experience is a plus.
  • Friendly, driven, and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable engaging face-to-face with diverse stakeholders.
