Therapy Program Assistant

About delivering therapy programs to clients under the guidance of a qualified Allied Health Professional, you will have the opportunity to gain experience in a real-world setting.
This casual position is based locally and involves working with individuals and families to achieve their therapy goals. You will be supported by our Therapists in person and remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy programs to clients, supporting them to achieve their goals.
- Further your experience in the disability sector while receiving ongoing support from our Allied Health Professionals.
- Support clients to achieve their goals and independence.
Requirements:
- Allied Health students studying an allied health degree, living locally, or currently studying externally.
- Certificate IV in Allied Health or fully qualified Allied Health Assistant with minimum Cert III.
- Hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check and QLD Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
- Have completed the NDIS Worker Orientation Module training.
- Hold current First Aid and CPR.
- Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and understanding of professional boundaries and scope of practice.
- Capacity to assist in all duties and work autonomously.
