Role Overview

As the Marketing Communications Manager, you will oversee the formulation and implementation of marketing and communication strategies across the hotel to elevate the Park Hyatt brand in Melbourne. You will act as a representative for the hotel, ensuring that all communications align with brand standards and maintain exceptional quality. You will assist the Director of Sales and Marketing in daily operations and support the team in achieving our objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and execute effective communication strategies for hotel materials and publications
  2. Manage Park Hyatt Melbourne's public relations and global brand presence
  3. Foster strong relationships across various levels in a diverse, cross-functional environment
  4. Create an annual communications plan and budget to be included in the hotel's yearly business strategy
  5. Oversee all digital and social media communications and marketing initiatives
  6. Coordinate the writing, editing, and proofreading of all Sales & Marketing materials in both print and digital formats
Minimum Qualifications
  1. University degree in Business, Hospitality, or Sales and Marketing
  2. Experience in a five-star hotel or a similar fast-paced setting
  3. Strong expertise in public relations and digital/social media marketing
  4. Analytical abilities to convert data into actionable insights
  5. A motivated and results-oriented individual with a creative mindset
  6. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
  7. Willingness to work on a rotating schedule
