We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Partnerships Professional to deliver partnership initiatives and support the growth of strategic partnerships across our organisation.

About the Role

Our client seeks a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Partnerships Advisor to drive engagement and collaboration with key stakeholders, develop and maintain strong external relationships, and lead the development of strategic plans to achieve business objectives.

  • Deliver partnership initiatives and manage broader partnership relationships on behalf of the organisation
  • Advise policy streams on strategic engagement opportunities, risks and emerging issues
  • Develop and maintain strong external relationships with industry bodies, jurisdictions and other stakeholders to build partnerships
  • Develop strategic engagement and communications plans to coordinate and lift engagement, supported by key messaging and proactive communications

Key Selection Criteria

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A proven track record of effective stakeholder engagement or community engagement in a regulatory and/or government policy environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a strong network of influential stakeholder contacts
  • High level analytical skills, with an ability to deal with complex matters and lead tasks as required
  • Advanced verbal communication skills and the ability to influence and form effective relationships with people from a wide range of backgrounds
