About the Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to support our business development and marketing strategy for government clients.

This fixed-term opportunity is available for a seasoned Market Growth Professional to develop and lead integrated sales and marketing plans to achieve government sector strategy and client growth objectives.

The national Client & Market Growth team at MinterEllison supports the partnership by providing business development and marketing services to ensure strong relationships with new and existing clients.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Work as a trusted adviser to Commonwealth Government leaders in developing and implementing focused marketing and business development plans.
  • Support Partners in assessing sales opportunities and formulating responses to clients, including management of key pursuits.
  • Foster collaborative relationships within the Government team and the broader Client and Market group.
  • Engage with Partners and Lawyers to leverage marketing and sales activities to generate client demand.
  • Measure and report the effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives.

  • A sound understanding of working in a similar environment.
  • Capability to shape the role and influence multiple virtual teams nationally.
  • Strong influencing skills to manage senior stakeholders.
  • Agility to work with Partners nationally to develop strategies for key clients.
  • Confidence to arrange and participate in internal and external client meetings.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
