Kitchen Operations Manager

A Wahlburgers Assistant Kitchen Manager is a highly skilled professional responsible for driving culinary excellence and delivering exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with the Kitchen Manager to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure seamless execution of menus and recipes;
- Coaching and developing new staff members to achieve exceptional culinary skills and guest service standards;
- Leading by example, promoting a positive and inclusive team culture, and fostering open communication among kitchen staff;
- Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining accurate records to optimize kitchen efficiency and minimize waste;
- Ensuring adherence to health and safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company standards for food quality and presentation;
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing initiatives to drive operational excellence;
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to company appearance standards, and promoting a safe and respectful work environment;
- Providing exceptional guest service, responding to feedback, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally;
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless supply chain operations;
- Staying up-to-date with culinary trends, menu innovations, and industry best practices to continuously improve kitchen operations and guest experiences.
Critical Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in high-volume kitchen environments, preferably in a management or supervisory role;
- Proven track record of driving culinary excellence, guest satisfaction, and team performance;
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills;
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities;
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety protocols, and regulatory requirements;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines;
- Compliant and up-to-date on all necessary certifications and training;
- Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving culinary excellence in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
