Job Overview

The role of the IT Support Engineer involves providing on-site technical assistance to clients across various locations.

This position requires individuals with experience in resolving desktop and network issues, installing and upgrading operating systems, and performing software and hardware troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve desktop and network problems
  • Install and upgrade operating systems
  • Apply patches and updates
  • Perform software and hardware troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with network engineering principles (CCNA or above certification)
  • Basic understanding of Wi-Fi technology
  • Knowledge of LAN, WAN, switch, and router configuration
  • Installation and administration of MS Office
  • Proficiency in business English and local languages
Tools Required
  • A fully charged laptop with a Windows operating system and administrative rights
  • Cisco console cable (DB9 RJ-45 or USB RJ-45)
  • Putty
  • TeamViewer
  • TFTP server
  • Screwdriver set
  • Internet data card
  • Console cable for Cisco router and ability to console into devices
