Job Title

Electrical Technical Advisor is a key position responsible for providing specialist electrical consultancy service in the areas of operation, maintenance and construction of electrical, instrumentation and SCADA type assets.

About The Role

This role offers a unique blend of challenges and opportunities for continuous learning from experienced peers. You will be working out in the field, witnessing the ongoing electrical performance of water and wastewater assets, identifying potential faults and breakdowns, and recommending cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and assessments to monitor performance and assess risk of failures
  • Provide expertise in electrical equipment maintenance, repair, and refurbishment
  • Offer advice and direction to colleagues on forecasting issues and operation planning
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure compliance with electrical standards and regulations
  • Travel to various sites across the region as required
Requirements
  • Electrical Worker's Licence endorsed 'Electrician's Licence' or Engineering Degree with experience in relevant fields
  • Considerable experience in operations and maintenance of water services infrastructure
  • Experience in electrical installation, testing, and commissioning
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate complex ideas clearly
