About the Position

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team for a 6-month project located near Karratha.

This is a FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) position from Perth, operating on a 3:1 roster.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in the alignment and dress out of gas turbines and compressors, including axial, centrifugal and reciprocating equipment.

They must also have prior experience with installation, commissioning and overhaul of critical rotating equipment in oil & gas, power generation or heavy industrial environments.

Australian Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade (or equivalent Australian recognised certificate) is mandatory for this role.

We require individuals with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must hold a valid Confined Spaces Entry and Working at Heights Certifications.

A High Risk Work Licence and White Card are also necessary.

The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical is required.
