Equipment Repair Specialist

Our organization is seeking an experienced Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the repair of equipment, ensuring high-quality standards are met and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and issue work packs to internal workshops or vendors for equipment stripping and assessment
  • Obtain relevant technical information and develop repair scopes of work
  • Create cost estimates and detailed customer proposals
  • Plan and schedule activities with team members and external teams/vendors
  • Maintain accurate job registers and document control systems
  • Provide technical support and advice on repair methods to workshops and vendors
  • Conduct quality inspections and ensure all repairs meet company standards
  • Review profit margins achieved for each job

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a maintenance or repair environment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents and instructions
  • Strong planning and scheduling skills, with attention to detail
  • Excellent customer liaison and communication skills
  • Competent in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
