About Our Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Leader to join our Sydney-based team at Avant Mutual. This permanent, full-time role will provide the business with support and guidance to develop the supplier management strategy and framework working closely with numerous business unit teams in a cross-functional and collaborative capacity.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and executing effective and efficient procurement strategies that deliver value
  • SUPPORTING supplier contract & commercial negotiations
  • SUPPORTING the business to uplift their supplier management oversight
  • SUPPORTING Avant Group to uplift the end-to-end procurement process aligning to APRA Standard CPS230
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Between 5 and 10 years of experience working in procurement
  • Tertiary qualifications in business/commerce, finance/accounting, engineering, IT, procurement or a related discipline
  • Prior experience in the financial services industry
  • Strategic and business acumen
  • Commitment to outstanding client service

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
