About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work. You will be working in a collaborative team environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently to maintain green spaces across our commercial sites and council-controlled roadsides and open spaces.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are mowed to a high standard, meeting our quality and safety standards.
  • Assist with other groundskeeping tasks as needed, such as pruning, weeding, and edging.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safe working practices.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in landscaping, gardening, or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, bend, squat, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and the sun.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Valid Driver's Licence and White Card.
  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
