As a Community Support Specialist, you will make a difference in the lives of our elderly clients with every interaction. We are searching for compassionate individuals to join our KinCare team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Household Assistance: Ensuring a clean and safe living environment for seniors.
  • Assisting clients with meal preparation and grocery shopping.
  • Providing companionship and transportation for social activities.
  • Delivering personal care including assistance with daily routines, medication management, and mobility support.
  • Offering emotional support and respite care.
  • Transporting clients to appointments and social engagements.
  • Managing complex care needs for clients requiring specialized support.

What qualities do we seek in a Community Support Specialist?

  • A genuine passion for assisting the elderly in maintaining their independence.
  • A valid Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, as travel is a key aspect of the role.
  • The ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations.
  • Availability to work at least three weekdays.
  • Comfort in working autonomously and solving everyday challenges, while knowing when to seek assistance.
