Be Recruitment is seeking a forward-thinking Clinical Specialist - Dementia Care & Support to lead the way in shaping a future where people impacted by dementia receive the right care.

As the Subject Matter Expert, you'll leverage your experience in guiding staff, leading evidence-based programs, and providing education and coaching to enhance their understanding of dementia, how to interact with individuals affected by it, and implementing tailored interventions across NSW/ACT.

We're looking for someone who can bring:

  • Extensive practical knowledge of clinical and health services with at least 5+ years of aged care nursing experience with a strong background in Dementia and Behaviour Support.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Dementia Behaviour Management and relevant Registered Nurse (RN) AHPRA registration.

You'll work closely with Clinical Nurse Consultants and Educators, building strong relationships to implement Models of Care, while providing expert coaching and support to ensure best practices are adopted within the Dementia framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the evaluation of program outcome data and drive the continuous improvement of policies and practices.
  • Implement evidence-based approaches for dementia care and behavioral support.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to foster a culture of innovation and excellence in dementia care.
