Generalist Human Resources Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced human resources professional to support our clients across the Sunshine Coast and Brisbane. This part-time role offers a flexible work-from-home opportunity with a range of diverse HR activities, including:

  • Compliance and best practice advice
  • Employment contract writing and reviewing, policy development, and handbook updates
  • Building genuine relationships with clients

The successful candidate will have a generalist focus, supporting all aspects of HR, including recruitment and selection, learning and development, HR administration, performance management, remuneration, risk management, compliance, workplace health and safety, and HR reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Reviewing and/or developing documents such as employment contracts, forms, handbooks
  2. Reviewing and/or developing policies and procedures
  3. Performance management
  4. Recruitment and selection - end-to-end
  5. Onboarding and induction
  6. Training - facilitation and/or presenting
  7. Audit support (e.g., ISO, HSQS, NDIS, Aged Care)
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar generalist HR Coordinator, Advisor, Officer or consulting role
  • Experience or exposure in key areas, including compliance, policy development, and performance management
  • Computer literacy in various software packages, including Microsoft Office and Excel
  • High level of communication skills, written, verbal, presentation, interpersonal, and ability to work with individuals at all levels
  • Project management skills and ability to achieve tight timeframes
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Tertiary qualification in human resources, business, management, or similar
  • Open Queensland Driver's License
