Job Title: Luxury Hotel Night Audit Position

Sunshine Coast, Queensland is renowned for its world-class resorts and hotels. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the front office during the overnight hours.

This includes checking in late arrivals, facilitating guest check-ins and check-outs, providing information on accommodation rates and amenities, monitoring and addressing any operational or guest issues that may arise, communicating effectively with other departments to ensure guest needs are met, conducting audits to identify areas for improvement, and implementing changes as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the night audit process, ensuring accuracy of end-of-day processes, daily revenue, transactions, payments collected, security, and reporting.
  • Facilitate guest check-ins and check-outs, and provide information to guests about accommodation, rates, and amenities.
  • Monitor, address, and resolve overnight operational or guest issues and emergencies.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure guests' needs are met.
  • Conduct audits, identify improvements, and implement changes.

Requirements:

  • Previous night auditor experience and knowledge in a luxury hotel environment.
  • Understanding of financial processes, information, and data.
  • High attention to detail, excellent administration, and organizational skills.
  • Current driver's license.
  • Ability to hold a QLD Working with Children Check Blue Card.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
