We are seeking a People Development Specialist to join our team, who will empower employees to bring their ideas and creativity to work in a culture that supports their growth and development. This role will strengthen our ability to plan and deliver an outstanding people experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with senior leaders to develop, coach, and implement effective policies and practices that support the strategic growth of the business.
  • Collaborate with leaders to design organisational structures, job roles, and talent management processes to drive organisational strategy.
  • Maintain a current knowledge of legislation and regulation that relate to people issues and participate in developing appropriate policies and procedures.
  • Offer coaching, counselling, and learning solutions to leaders and employees to promote professional development and career progression opportunities.
  • Enable a culture of high performance by educating and coaching leaders on performance management and performance discussions.
  • In collaboration with the People & Culture Team, help develop culture strategies and design approaches for diagnosing and enhancing employee engagement.
Requirements
  • Significant experience working in a HR Business Partner role.
  • Demonstrated experience working with senior stakeholders.
  • A demonstrated knowledge of HR best practice, including applicable state and national employment laws and regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing ER cases.
  • Financial Services, Technology or Fintech industry experience would be a huge advantage.
  • A background in Learning & Development is preferred but not essential.
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to stylistically adapt communication based on audience.
  • A commitment to delivering great outcomes for our people is absolutely essential.
