This is a pivotal role that requires technical expertise, strong organizational skills and effective communication. You will be responsible for coordinating remedial projects across various structures, buildings and bridges.
As a Remedial Project Coordinator, you will assist in the planning, execution and completion of these projects. This involves ensuring all activities meet safety, quality and environmental standards.
You will work closely with the Project Manager to deliver specialist remedial projects across Queensland. Your key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the planning, execution and completion of remedial projects
- Interpreting and applying technical drawings, specifications and engineering designs
- Ensuring project activities meet safety, quality and environmental standards
- Supporting cost control, scheduling and project forecasting
- Coordinating subcontractors and suppliers
- Conducting inspections, completing QA documentation and maintaining reporting standards
- Providing technical guidance and on-site supervision
- Engaging with clients and stakeholders
We are looking for an individual with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Graduate, Junior or Site Engineer role is essential. Additionally, you should have exposure to concrete remediation, waterproofing, structural strengthening or coatings.
The ideal candidate will possess sound knowledge of Australian engineering codes and site practices. Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving abilities are also crucial. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with project or engineering software is a plus.
