Aboriginal Women's Services Case Manager

This is a unique opportunity to work with a proud Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation delivering specialist family violence services across Victoria.

  • The Relink & Reconnect – Case Manager will be part of our Pre and Post Release Services Team, supporting Aboriginal women and trans and gender diverse people exiting prison.

This role is crucial in developing and implementing culturally responsive transition plans, providing intensive case management and support, collaborating with internal and external partners, and uplifting the social and emotional wellbeing of our clients through advocacy and culturally grounded support.

Key Requirements:
  • A strong commitment to working within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation, understanding cultural protocols, kinship systems, and the unique experiences of Aboriginal women, families and communities.
  • An understanding of systemic barriers faced by justice-involved Aboriginal women and trans and gender diverse people.
  • Experience providing culturally safe, trauma-informed case management and advocacy.
  • Working knowledge of MARAM, FVISS, CISS frameworks.
  • Ability to work flexibly across multiple sites, including in prison settings.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Community Services, Justice or a related field.
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in the community or justice sector.
