Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure our operations meet stringent regulatory standards while safeguarding the integrity of our services.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make a tangible impact on the future of cryptocurrency.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive due diligence on new and existing customers to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor transactions and activities for suspicious behavior and potential money laundering risks.
- Investigate and analyze unusual patterns, discrepancies, and financial anomalies to mitigate fraud and financial crime.
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement and refine AML policies and procedures in line with regulatory frameworks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to AML compliance efforts.
- Stay informed on the latest regulatory developments and industry best practices in AML and CTF.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in cryptocurrency-related financial compliance, particularly with AML regulations.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as FINTRAC and AUSTRAC.
- Knowledge of KYC software (e.g., SumSub).
- Strong analytical skills to identify patterns, anomalies, and financial discrepancies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to integrity and professionalism.
- $65K/year (Canada, Junior)
