Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to ensure our operations meet stringent regulatory standards while safeguarding the integrity of our services.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make a tangible impact on the future of cryptocurrency.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive due diligence on new and existing customers to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
  2. Monitor transactions and activities for suspicious behavior and potential money laundering risks.
  3. Investigate and analyze unusual patterns, discrepancies, and financial anomalies to mitigate fraud and financial crime.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams to implement and refine AML policies and procedures in line with regulatory frameworks.
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation related to AML compliance efforts.
  6. Stay informed on the latest regulatory developments and industry best practices in AML and CTF.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in cryptocurrency-related financial compliance, particularly with AML regulations.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as FINTRAC and AUSTRAC.
  • Knowledge of KYC software (e.g., SumSub).
  • Strong analytical skills to identify patterns, anomalies, and financial discrepancies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
  • High attention to detail with a strong commitment to integrity and professionalism.
Compensation & Location
  • $65K/year (Canada, Junior)
  • $120K/year (Australia, Senior)
  • Remote work arrangement available
