Job Overview

This position involves providing clinical and technical expertise to assess personal injury claims for appropriate treatment and rehabilitation requirements. It also involves coaching and mentoring to build injury management capabilities and support proactive claims management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review claim files, interpret medical reports, and determine rehabilitation and treatment requirements.
  • Prepare professional written and verbal advice on reasonable treatment and rehabilitation services.
  • Provide consistent injury management expertise to ensure quality decisions and input into claims strategy.
  • Share knowledge and coach others to develop injury management capabilities.
  • Support the team to identify development opportunities and trends to improve performance and claim outcomes.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • A degree in an allied health discipline is mandatory.
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience, including nursing.
  • Customer service experience is essential.
  • Desirable: 2 years of workers' compensation experience, occupational rehabilitation experience, and ability to identify developmental needs of team members.
