Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team and oversee the delivery of capital works projects from initiation to handover. This is a contract position that requires the ability to develop and deliver a range of projects using knowledge of the Local Government Building and Construction Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Developing and delivering capital works projects by applying knowledge of the Local Government Building and Construction Industry.">
  • Liaising with governing authorities and/or utility providers.">
  • Coordinating design, managing contractors, providing technical direction, and ensuring projects are delivered within pre-determined limits of time, cost, and quality.">
  • Collaborating and managing client and project needs using effective interpersonal and communication skills.">

Qualifications and Requirements:

">

Applicants must have a degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a similar field. A Class C driver's license and WHS construction induction certification are also required.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

">

Significant experience in managing multi-disciplinary projects, including project finances, tendering, and contract administration. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and negotiate with stakeholders. Strong knowledge of construction legislation and standards and proficiency in Office 365.
