Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity to manage the delivery of various projects focused on community development.

As a professional in this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the initiation, design, procurement, and delivery of capital works projects. This includes reviewing draft designs for constructability and potential omissions, developing technical requirements for RFQs and RFTs, and leading evaluation panels.

  • Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-disciplinary capital works projects
  • Develop and implement project management strategies to ensure timely and within-budget project delivery
  • Liaise with governing authorities and utility providers to ensure compliance and approvals
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project initiation, including defining project scope, goals, and timelines
  • Oversee project design, including reviewing and approving design plans
  • Procure and manage contractors, suppliers, and consultants as required
  • Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
Required Skills and Qualifications:

A strong candidate for this role will have a degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or similar, along with current Class C Driver's Licence and WHS Construction Induction certification.

The ideal candidate will possess proven experience managing multi-disciplinary capital works projects and demonstrated success in managing budgets, business planning, tendering, and contract administration.
