About The Role
Ventia is in search of a skilled Team Leader to join our Ventia Operations Centre (VOC). This role is pivotal in guiding and directing our dispatch and helpdesk teams on a daily basis, ensuring that we meet key service performance levels across various national and state-based projects that operate 24/7.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the team effectively deploys resources in a timely and proactive manner to address multiple, sometimes conflicting, priorities.
  • Oversee proactive management of all work orders to guarantee that service level agreements are consistently met.
  • Lead the Ventia Operations Centre staff to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Support Dispatch and Helpdesk Operators in achieving acceptable performance metrics for the organization.
  • Mentor and guide Dispatch and Helpdesk personnel, fostering a culture of engagement and collaboration.
  • Engage with clients for routine and ad-hoc requests, maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and development reviews for direct reports using Success Factors.
  • Act as the first point of escalation for VOC and customer issues, ensuring that contract service level agreements and KPIs are met or exceeded.
  • Coordinate real-time incident analysis, investigations, and response efforts, addressing environmental risks and hazards.

About You
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a leadership capacity, with a solid understanding of operations and maintenance within the telecommunications or utility sectors.

You will also bring:

  • Strong stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and performance management software (experience with SuccessFactors or similar is advantageous).
  • Experience in implementing processes and procedures through effective change management.
