About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team at Ventia, based out of our offices in Cremorne, VIC. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the delivery of the N2P program of work, with a focus on On Time Delivery, safety, quality, issue resolution, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer Ventia Proprietary work management system to update the program and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Issue tickets of work to subcontractor base and maintain effective communication to ensure timely completion.
  • Regularly follow up with subcontractors, field managers, and area supervisors to obtain status updates and address any issues promptly.
  • Brief field supervisors through regular correspondence and meetings to prioritize field activities and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Validate design and survey plans to ensure construction viability and accuracy.
  • Validate BOMBOQ to ensure accurate construction and materials, and coordinate any necessary redesign and survey.
  • Coordinate adjusted material requirements and ensure timely delivery.
  • Prepare program status reports and subcontractor schedules to facilitate informed decision-making.
About You

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience as a Site Engineer, ideally within the telecommunications and construction fields, and hold an Engineering qualification. You will also possess:

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiar with corporate business systems to manage tickets of work and ensure efficient project execution.
  • Ability to interpret engineering and survey drawings, and communicate effectively with subcontractors and clients.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure delivery compliance.
