About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer to join our team at Ventia, based out of our offices in Cremorne, VIC. As a Site Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving the delivery of the N2P program of work, focusing on timely delivery, safety, quality, issue resolution, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer Ventia's proprietary work management system to update the program and ensure seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Issue tickets of work to our subcontractor base, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Regularly follow up with subcontractors, field managers, and area supervisors to obtain status updates and address any concerns.
  • Brief field supervisors through regular correspondence and meetings to prioritize field activities and ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Validate design and survey plans to ensure construction viability and accuracy.
  • Validate BOMBOQ to ensure accurate construction and materials, minimizing errors and delays.
  • Coordinate redesign and survey efforts to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate adjusted material requirements to optimize project resources.
  • Prepare program status reports to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Prepare subcontractor schedules to ensure timely completion and efficient resource allocation.

About You
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience as a Site Engineer, ideally within the telecommunications or construction fields, and hold an Engineering qualification. You will also possess:

  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with corporate business systems to manage tickets of work and optimize project workflows.
  • Ability to interpret engineering and survey drawings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to interface with subcontractors and clients to ensure delivery compliance and high-quality results.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.
